I would be scared if I got a threat like that.  –Dustin

I say follow it through … expose this person and get them on Internet threats.  –Anita Busch   She’s absolutely right in this case.  –Dustin

7/15/11: I just am more focused on the Alicia Pain and other criminal activity. I want whoever is behind that to go to prison.  –Dustin

you [GC] called Alicia Pain’s threats “benign” above. You should not offer opinions like that when you don’t know the facts  –Patterico

I hope LE is also looking into Alicia Pain  –DRJ

At a minimum, someone named Alicia Pain threatened me. That much is illegal. I have repeatedly said there is more going on as well.  –Patterico

Alicia Pain claims she contacted you. Is that true? Which means you may need protection.  –az5thdstrct

If you/your family did receive a threat from Alicia Pain, why not contact the authorities? (Assume Patterico would advise) that not to succumb to the threat and best to protect family is to contact authorities to investigate.  –az5thdstrct

I received an e-mail threat that night from “Alicia Pain” threatening my family if I looked into the activities of Gennette and Weiner any further.  –Patterico

I spoke today to detectives from two jurisdictions.  –Patterico

My main goal in getting involved has been to make sure all agencies are talking to each other. Be assured that I am making efforts to ensure that happens.  –Patterico

I will not discuss which jurisdictions.  –Patterico

This person, assuming it’s just one person, is dangerous. Everyone whose real name is known out there should be aware of their surroundings, make sure someone knows where they are and what they are doing, etc.  –Dustin

i knew all about that one, and told him … call the police on them…  –Aaron Worthing

the authorities are looking into who sent these threats, and they are going catch that person.  –Dustin

How does that help me catch the people menacing my family?  –Patterico

we consider this important.  –Patterico

I simply wish we could find the people that did the threats, get that taken care of- and then take the time to unravel the mystery. Someone/s needs to be in jail…asap.  –ppk_pixie

there are some extremely aggressive bad guys threatening people … and even taking their threats to the next level where law enforcement knows it has to stop them.  –Dustin

If [qritiq’s] going to continue to …  snark at real threats, then she is not welcome.  –Patterico

Ron – I know what your voice sounds like.

One day, we’ll all know what Ron’s voice sounds like.

Ron’s Twitters tonight sound surprisingly sane.

      Guilty, yeah. But sane.

And Ron Brynaert is in league with them and Neal Rauhauser.

Working for Anthony Weiner, to blunt the edge of material I have not yet released, from Anthony Weiner to Nikki Reid. To sow confusion.

      And do other evil things.

Dan Wolfe doesn’t care about any of that. He may not be behind the threats but he is not what he claims to be. He is a fraud.

Dustin, if you like, I will delete the link to Ron’s post. I will also consider posting his IP, as well as the expunged arrest information I previously deleted.

When I was waiting for a police detective from Mass to call me during the last week of June, all the cell phone coverage in my area mysteriously went out…Patterico agreed on our phone call that that might have been hackers.

Actually, I think I remember a time during our phone call when you either left or had your service disrupted about 45 minutes into our hour-long call the morning of July 1. It only lasted 3-5 minutes. Is that what you’re talking about?

      Comment by Patterico — 8/2/2011 @ 8:16 am

And I get tired of people like Dan Wolfe and Gennette Cordova telling me that they have nothing that will help. Let me be the judge of that — or, if not me, then law enforcement.

I view this a little like Bush viewed the terrorists. You’re either with me or against me.

      Comment by Patterico — 8/4/2011 @ 7:03 pm

That’s not what I remember, Ron. I remember discussing the comment Alicia Pain left about your criminal record, and how I had taken it down. You seem to acknowledge in an earlier comment a disruption of some sort that occurred about 45 minutes into our call the early morning hours of July 1, which lasted maybe 3-5 minutes, after which we continued talking for another 15 minutes or so. You remember both of those things, right?

      Comment by Patterico — 8/5/2011 @ 7:26 am

      Ron,

Alicia Pain left her comment about your expunged conviction at 9:49 pm. In our long phone call, I told you about that and you explained what had happened. And I told you I had moderated the comment.

That was the same phone call where you disappeared for a few minutes and then told me your phone service had been disrupted. Do I have that right?

      Comment by Patterico — 8/5/2011 @ 8:07 am

Ron has offered up his e-mails and phone records to law enforcement. I may be able to arrange that for you, Ron. E-mail me and let me know how you would like to be contacted, and I’ll ask them if they would like to have you sign a consent form.

But of course, I don’t believe you for a second. Dan Wolfe also claimed he would cooperate with law enforcement — right up until the moment when I asked him to actually do so.

Why do I suspect that Ron will behave in exactly the same way?

Prove me wrong, Ron. I’m sure I can arrange for a consent form to be provided for you to sign, to accomplish what you have offered.

Claiming that this is an offer from a “sock” is an excuse that nobody will believe, by the way. You know how to look up the real number for the law enforcement agency I will have contact you, and you can call them yourself to verify it’s for real.

So what do you say, Ron? Was your offer serious? Or an evasion by a criminal trying to appear innocent?

      Comment by Patterico — 8/6/2011 @ 12:52 pm

Ron isn’t just a “troll,” Joe.

      Comment by Patterico — 8/6/2011 @ 12:53 pm

I’m not sending any emails because …

… because your offer to talk to law enforcement was a lie.

      Just like Dan Wolfe.

      Comment by Patterico — 8/6/2011 @ 2:21 pm

Nah, Ron is not Dan, in my opinion.

But they are dishonest in similar ways.

They both have something to hide.

I think they are hiding different things.

But they both have something to hide.

Meanwhile, Gennette has written me to say that she is showing the DMs to Mike Stack but not to me. I guess I hurt her feelings by . . . not groveling or something.

She acts quite a bit like Dan Wolfe. Toe the line and she’ll dole out the tidbits. Otherwise, you and your desire to solve who has been menacing your family can go hang.

I am more suspicious of her than ever.

I have this very weird feeling something bizarre is going to happen tonight. It feels like June 30 all over again.

      Comment by Patterico — 8/8/2011 @ 10:16 pm

Despite all this, I’m feeling good. We’re making progress. I believe we are going to get the bad guys and send them to prison. There was some progress on that front today.

Were I one of the bad guys, I would be nervous right about now.

Oh, and, again, that’s a complete fucking lie.

There was no interruption on our June 30/July 1 phone call…there was no disruption. I didn’t leave the phone for 10 seconds or 30 or 60 or any time at all.

And on all the phone calls I had with Patterico we spoke specifically about Andrew Breitfart so if you don’t know that, Mandy, then obviously you don’t know everything. On the last phone call, he confirmed it was him by mentioning that we discussed Mr. Breitfart on our last call.

Who says the Alicia Pain who threatened Patterico and Ace is also the same person who was able to get access to Ron’s expunged arrest record and post it under the name “Alicia Pain” on Patrick Frey’s blog?

How many people trying to make Ron look guilty have the access required to pull up an old expunged arrest record?

Can Ron FOIA the police department to see whose computer accessed that record?

  2. i’ll be under the bed <>

  3. ronbrynaert Says:

“I will not discuss which jurisdictions.” – Patterico

Probably because one of the juridictions is Virginia – where nobody lives – because, at the very least, Patterico is and was more concerned about protecting AceofC-wordsHQ’s secret identity than helping Mike Stack catch the criminal who swatted him.

  4. Redacterico Says:

Patrick Frey has a long history of screaming “death threat” and making noises about reporting it to the police at the smallest provocation. If he really got swatted, how could he not report it? A swatting against him would be more than a threat against 2 deputy DAs and their family. It’s potentially a warning shot against prosecutors in the anti-gang unit where Patterico and his wife work. If they got swatted, they would be seriously negligent not to report it.

  5. Congressman Mike Grimm tries to shake down a rabbi.

Rabbi goes to Congressman Anthony Weiner, complaint follows.

Grimm knows Weiner is involved, the hunt for Weiner’s weiner begins.

Weiner is too cagey for stupid stunts so it takes months of increasingly risky fabrication and additional people involved.

Finally it comes out, not as planned, but accidentally, and it all gets really interesting and complex, which is bad for the conspirators.

Aaron, Ace, Dustin, Pat, one or more women who’ve not been identified – these are the people who did the job.

Born Free Crew in general and Mike Stack in particular were set up to take the heat for this – not sophisticated enough to see what was brewing and understand the implications.

Alicia Pain, teen girls, Patricia Reid, John Reid, Dan Wolfe – all sock puppets involved in creating the narrative, and all of little use now that Grimm’s motive comes to light.

Darrah Ford, Jennifer George, Ron Brynaert, Tommy Christopher, Neal Rauhauser – all interested outsiders who either inserted themselves or got dragged into the drama, and not connected with the actual conspiracy against Weiner.

Was Ace really involved in canvas activity for Grimm in NY-13? This part isn’t clear – a dozen people in a caravan go, either from Boston or Fairfax, in order to help with the election?

Congressman involved in extortion? That’s federal.

O’Keefe sending people to pose as Eric Holder and vote in D.C.? Suicidally stupid and federal.

Frey dumping someone’s SSN. Who is witness to O’Keefe’s crime wave. During work hours. Using his wife’s Scribd? Suicidally stupid witness tampering in a federal investigation.

This all adds up to a federal corruption task force and it’ll be highly motivated given the direct insult to the Attorney General. Talk of difficult to trace threat letters and swatting are a smoke screen from the conspirators. Maybe they actually did swat Stack in an attempt to make it seem credible and to deflect attention from themselves.

This group of people does not claim to be part of Anonymous, but look at the parallels:

Extortion for funding, similar to the bank fraud behind LulzSec.

Stalk & dox, just like CabinCr3w or doxbin

Antics with the phone system, just like Team Poison.

Most of Anonymous are anarcho-syndicalist or outright anarchist. This curious little racist, Islamophobic group is a cultural mismatch, but they are part of the same crime wave.

  7. It’s almost like a bad reality show where two people know the cameras are on them, yet they openly discuss what seems like it would/should be a private discussion.
I know that it’s hard to fathom, but being accused falsely wasn’t fun for me, and I’m certainly not going to let it happen to Ron or anyone involved in this nightmare.
Once again, if there is specific evidence that proves the absolute guilt connected to BOTH calls, spit it out already. I call bullshit.
